Mohammad Hanif — Founder
Mohammad Hanif was a visionary founder and one of Karachi’s most prominent figures in the carpet manufacturing industry. In 1963, he established what would grow into one of the largest carpet manufacturing businesses in the Karachi.
During the 1980s, Mr. Hanif expanded the business beyond Pakistan’s borders, opening an office in Neuss, Germany; a testament to his ambition and the international reputation he earned for quality carpets. His work not only placed Pakistani carpets on the global stage but also created a lasting legacy in the industry.
Mr. Hanif passed away in June 2000, leaving behind a business built on dedication, integrity, and excellence. Today, his vision lives on through Hanif Carpets, proudly run by his family and continuing the tradition of quality he established over six decades ago.
